Scoutbook and Scoutbook Plus are Scouting America’s online tools for helping families and leaders stay connected throughout the Scouting year. While you may hear both names used, Scoutbook Plus is the primary platform for viewing Pack and den calendars, responding to event invitations, following your Scout’s advancement, and recording requirements or activities completed at home. Pack leaders use it to maintain records, approve advancement, and ensure Scouts receive recognition for their achievements.
Parents and guardians access Scoutbook Plus using the same my.scouting.org account created during registration. Calendar and advancement information is also available through the Scouting mobile app.
The following sections will guide you through the essential tasks every Pack 1882 family should know, including signing in, confirming your Scout is connected, viewing and subscribing to the Pack calendar, responding to events, and tracking advancement. See the Scoutbook Plus Tutorial for Parents for a detailed overview on Scoutbook Plus and its features and functions.
Check out the following videos that can help you in navigating Scoutbook Plus for updating your scout's profile and an overview of the calendar features.
