Behind every Scout is a parent, guardian, or caregiver whose involvement helps make the Cub Scouting experience meaningful, memorable, and successful. Pack 1882 is powered entirely by adult volunteers who contribute their time and talents across many roles and responsibilities. We encourage every adult to register and find a way to serve—especially as a Den Leader, where your involvement has a direct and lasting impact on your child and their fellow Scouts.
Volunteer
The Pack is run by a group of volunteer leaders called the Pack Committee. The Committee consists of 2 or more leaders from each Den, plus other positions like Cubmaster, Committee Chair, and Treasurer. We are always looking to add people to the Committee. Please let us know if you are interested.
Pack 1882 is powered by adult volunteers. Some leaders work directly with Scouts, while others handle planning, administration, communication, and logistics. Together, they ensure our leaders are supported and every Scout receives a safe, organized, and memorable program. Scouting America identifies the Chartered Organization Representative (COR), Committee Chair, and Cubmaster as the pack’s “Key 3.” Learn how a Cub Scout pack is organized.
