Wearing a Cub Scout uniform is more than just a tradition — it’s a symbol of identity, achievement, and commitment to Scouting values. There are two core unforms that are used by the pack, a Class A uniform and a Class B uniform. As a pack, scouts should wear the Class A uniform to pack/den meetings and certain outings. The Class B is typically worn when participating in outdoor / physical activities. The pack leadership will provide guidance for any uniform needs for a specific event.
This is the formal blue or tan (Arrow of Light) uniform that consists of shirt, pans, belt, socks, hat, neckerchief, and neckerchief slide. See the official uniform guides on Scouting.org or click the rank emblems below to see the uniform options from ScoutShop.org.
This is the Pack T-shirt and worn when camping, sports, hiking, or physicial activites or at the discretion of a den/pack. All new youth members will receive a Class B T-Shirt after initial registration to the pack. Registered adult leaders will also receive a t-shirt.
Uniforms can be purchased online through ScoutShop.org or can be purchased in person at the local Scout Shop in Stafford, TX. I recommend purchasing in person as the staff there are extermly helpful and will help you with all of your uniform needs. Additionally, other members of the pack or the pack storage may have pieces or parts of gently used uniforms that you may also be able to leverage.

As part of the scout law, a scout is thrifty. This means a scout considers when a purchase is truly needed and they take care of what they already own. If you or your scout have already grown out or no longer need any parts of the cub scout uniform, consider gifting that to the pack. Contact cubscoutpack1882.sltx@gmail.com if you wish to contribute to the pack.
